Walk N Talk 4 Mental Health has launched a new website to make it easier for people to find free local walks, start new groups, and share lived experience, as the Hampshire-founded charity steps up plans for national growth.

The site, at walkntalk4mentalhealth.org, lets visitors:
- Find and join a local walk
- Learn how to start their own group
- Share their mental health journey
- Support the charity through donations or volunteering
Jude, Founder of Walk N Talk, said:
“We believe change starts with a chat. Our new website is a big step forward helping us grow our walks, connect more people, and build a future where talking about mental health is normal, not awkward.”
Why this matters
Walk N Talk highlights that the UK continues to face heavy demand for mental health support, with millions in contact with NHS services and many waiting for help. The charity points to evidence that time outdoors and gentle activity can lift mood, reduce loneliness, and build resilience, which is why its model focuses on walking together and talking without stigma.
A grassroots charity with big ambitions
The charity’s current plan includes:
- Increasing average walk attendance to 10 or more people per event by Autumn 2025
- Launching two new walk locations by 2026
- Partnering with other charities and services to run collaboration walks
- A “Share Your Story” campaign to amplify lived experience
- Recruiting more walk leaders and a part-time Development Lead to support sustainable growth
