Visitors to Andover High Street can enjoy young traders, independent stalls and free creative workshops as Second Sundays returns this weekend.

The monthly market takes place on Sunday 12 July 2026, bringing together local independent traders, makers, designers, producers and artisan food sellers.
This month’s event will also feature a special Young Traders market, giving young people the chance to showcase their ideas and sell their products in a real market setting.
Test Valley Borough Council says 11 young entrepreneurs will be taking part, selling a range of items including jewellery, baked goods, homeware, gifts and sweet treats.
One trader will also be selling desserts from a converted horsebox.
The Young Traders market follows the success of last year’s events. A second festive Young Traders market is planned for Sunday 6 December in the Chantry Centre.
Visitors will also be able to take part in two free drop-in creative workshops throughout the day.
Artist Kiri Horikiri White will lead a collage and monoprinting workshop inspired by her mixed-media practice. People will be able to create their own artwork using materials including magazines, fabric scraps, ribbons, string, gems, pens and pencils.
Pop-up Spray Studios will also run a spray-painting workshop, giving visitors an introduction to street-art-inspired techniques and the safe use of spray paint.
The workshop will include pre-cut stencils and guidance on control, layering and effects.
Councillor Phil North, leader of Test Valley Borough Council, said: “Last year’s Young Traders markets were a real success, giving young people the chance to build confidence, develop new skills and showcase their ideas to the public.
“The Young Traders market is a fantastic extension to this month’s Second Sundays event, sitting alongside an excellent line-up of independent traders and free creative activities.
“It’s a great opportunity to support local talent and experience the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit that exists across our community.”
Second Sundays will take place on Andover High Street from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm on Sunday 12 July.
Entry is free and no booking is required for the workshops.
