Held over two days, the event saw riders of all ages and categories compete on the national stage – from under 6s right through to the 55+ Cruiser class – with Andover represented in nearly all male classes and the majority of female categories.

And the results were just as impressive:

  • 37 riders reached the top 8 finals
  • 17 riders finished on the podium (top 3)

Among the standout performances:

  • James Miller (13) clinched the overall series win with his 6th first-place finish of the season – earning huge applause from supporters in the Team AIR gazebo.
  • Graham Stark, affectionately known as the “CEO” of Kebab House Racing Team, achieved his best-ever national result, finishing 2nd in the Cruiser 44+ category on Day 1.
  • Newton Hindley (Cruiser 13–14) and Esme Ward (Female 13) both secured 2nd place overall in their respective series categories.
  • Theo Robbins stormed to a convincing win in his final on Day 2, earning a personal best and crowd favourite moment.

The event also marked a major milestone for seven first-time national racers, including:

  • Billie Sawyer (Female U6)
  • Lennie Goddard (Female U6)
  • Jacob Sheppard (Male U6)
  • Noah Taylor (Male 7)
  • Louis Stoter (Male 7)
  • Edward Worrall (Male 11)
  • Mason Kelly (Open 15)

Their enthusiasm and determination suggest this is just the beginning of their racing journeys.

Reflecting on the weekend, a club spokesperson said:

“To see this kind of growth and success at a national level is extraordinary. The riders’ commitment, our coaches’ support, and the backing of the wider community have all made this possible.”

The incredible weekend has boosted Andover BMX Club’s position in the UK Club League – now sitting 6th overall out of 53 clubs, and currently the top-ranked club in the South Region.

The final rounds of the national series will take place in Birmingham in two weeks’ time – and the club is eager to finish strong.
