A man has been charged following a disturbance on Andover High Street over the weekend.

Police were called to Camera’s Café at around 5.30pm on Sunday, 29 June, after reports that a man had assaulted two members of staff and caused damage to a window.
Luke William Mark Miles, 31, of Landseer Court in Andover, has been charged with a number of offences in connection with the incident. These include:
- Two counts of assault by beating
- Criminal damage
- Sexual assault on a male
- Two counts of assaulting a police officer
Miles appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 1 July, where he was remanded in custody. A date for his next court appearance is yet to be confirmed.
