Runners from across the region are being invited to lace up their trainers and join the 2025 Andover Half Marathon, which returns this October with over 100 participants already signed up.

Scheduled to begin at 8am on Sunday 26th October, the event offers a challenging yet rewarding 13.1-mile (21.1 km) route through the stunning Test Valley countryside. Starting and finishing on Andover High Street, this community-driven race is open to seasoned athletes, charity runners, and newcomers alike.
Organised by Seasons Run Club, this year’s event promises not only a scenic and well-supported course but also a number of exciting perks for participants. Runners will receive:
- A bespoke finisher’s medal
- Category-specific prizes for top finishers
- A £100 cash prize for both the first male and female to cross the line
- Accurate chip timing
- Access to aid stations, marshals, and medical support along the way
The route is a mixed-terrain course, with 84% on paved roads and 16% off-road, taking runners through picturesque villages and past three Iron Age hill forts, offering spectacular views and a total elevation gain of 751 ft (229 m). With a 3½-hour cut-off, it is an ideal race for both competitive runners and those simply looking to complete a personal goal.
Early bird entry is now open at £35, offering great value for those who sign up ahead of time. Friends, families, and supporters are encouraged to come along and cheer runners on from the town centre and throughout the course.
