Thousands Flock to Stockbridge for Annual Trout ‘n About Festival

Stockbridge came alive this weekend as the annual Trout ‘n About food and craft festival drew thousands of visitors to the picturesque High Street.

The event, which celebrates the best of local produce, artisan crafts, and community spirit, has become a firm favourite in the Hampshire calendar, attracting people from across the region.

With stalls stretching along the village’s main road, the festival offered everything from freshly caught trout and local meats to handmade jewellery, woodcrafts, and tempting bakes.

Several Andover-based businesses and organisations were present this year, including Be Bougie Home Fragrance with their popular wax melts and candles, The Gin Palace with tastings and cocktail kits, the Countess of Brecknock Hospice and Design That Fitz with their distinctive decoupage-style bottle lights and gifts.

The wide variety of food and drink on offer kept the crowds coming, with many visitors stopping for lunch from international street food stalls before picking up handmade gifts and treats to take home. Live music, children’s activities, and street entertainment added to the festive atmosphere throughout the day.
