Final Push for Kids on Track as Curry’s Cycle Challenge Nears the Finish Line

Andover’s Curry’s store has been buzzing with energy this week as staff, volunteers and children from local charity Kids on Track have been taking part in a week-long Cycle Challenge, aiming to pedal an incredible 428 miles – the distance across the Curry’s Southwest region and back again – all to raise money for the charity.

The event, hosted by Curry’s Andover, began on 5th October and runs until 12th October, with just one day left to reach their ambitious goal. The challenge has seen in-store staff, Kids on Track volunteers and children team up to take turns on the exercise bike throughout the week, clocking up miles and plenty of smiles along the way.

The initiative has been filled with laughter, encouragement and community spirit, with many of the children supported by Kids on Track turning up to cheer everyone on and even get involved themselves.

Among those leading the charge are Macey from Curry’s, who has been praised for her enthusiasm and support, along with Tor, CEO of Kids on Track; Kiki, the charity’s founder; and Jo, a mentor who also organises the charity’s popular holiday camps.

The week has also featured a customer raffle, giving visitors the chance to win vouchers and prizes while helping to support the charity’s vital work with children and families in the Andover area.

With just one day to go, the team still has a few miles left to cover – and they’re encouraging locals to pop in, show their support, and help them reach the finish line.

Donations can be made in-store or online via the QR code shared on promotional materials.
