Staff from Parker Bullen LLP have played a key role in helping the long-established law firm raise more than £4,300 this year for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA).

Since naming the life-saving charity as their 2025 Charity of the Year, the firm’s teams across Andover, Salisbury, Romsey, Totton and Witney have taken part in a packed programme of fundraising challenges and community events – from relay marathons and raffles to glass walks and night-time runs.
The Andover team hosted a summer charity raffle, raising over £600, with prizes including a chance to experience the charity’s work first-hand through a virtual flight simulator. Colleagues also joined the charity’s Dash in the Dark event in Southampton, lighting up the night in support of HIOWAA’s critical care crews.
On 3 November, twenty-six employees from the Andover and Salisbury offices took part in CPR Skills for Life, a training programme delivered by HIOWAA’s Supporter Engagement Officer, Natalie Russell, to boost confidence in performing basic life support.
Karen Clarkson, Marketing and Business Development Partner at Parker Bullen, said:
“Our Charity of the Year initiative is something we’re incredibly proud of. We’ve loved working alongside Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance – from the Romsey Relay Marathon to the Dash in the Dark and even walking on broken glass!
“The team at HIOWAA are inspirational and genuinely passionate about what they do.”
The firm’s support has also extended beyond fundraising, with members of Parker Bullen’s Wills and Estate Planning team joining HIOWAA’s Legacy Team to provide practical advice on leaving a lasting gift through wills.
As part of their partnership, staff visited the site of HIOWAA’s new Airbase near Southampton Airport – a major step in the charity’s Operation Airbase Appeal, which aims to improve response times and reach almost every patient across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight within 10 minutes of take-off.
Natalie Russell, from HIOWAA, said:
“We are immensely grateful to Parker Bullen for helping to send a lifeline to patients in their darkest hour. Their fundraising will make a lasting difference to those who rely on our Critical Care Team when every minute counts.”
