A record-breaking turnout and plenty of community spirit helped make the latest Me & My Dad Club fundraiser at Thruxton a memorable success, with families enjoying a morning of walking, cycling and scooting around the famous race circuit.
The Dad Club Does Thruxton Family Walk, Cycle and Scoot Lap attracted its biggest attendance to date, with the weather holding off just long enough for participants to complete the special fundraising event in dry conditions.
Children of all ages took on the challenge around the circuit, with many showing impressive determination by completing multiple laps on foot, by bike or on their scooters. Supporters lined the route throughout the morning, cheering on participants and helping to create a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere.
Organisers praised everyone who took part, highlighting the enthusiasm and effort shown by the children throughout the event.
Special thanks were also given to Andy Cook, who once again organised the event, with organisers recognising the dedication and hard work involved in bringing the popular family morning together.
The fundraiser also got off to a strong start, with donations already beginning to come in to support the continued growth of Me & My Dad Club.
The organisation provides affordable, inclusive activities designed to bring dads, father figures and children together, helping families spend quality time together while building friendships and stronger community connections.
Funds raised will help the club continue offering low-cost sessions, introduce new guest experiences and activities, purchase equipment and resources, support larger community events and family days out, and expand its reach to even more local families.
