The Countess of Brecknock Hospice has announced that this year’s 10@10 Late Night Walk has raised a record-breaking more than £46,000, making the 2026 event the most successful in its history.

Hundreds of walkers took to the streets of Andover on Saturday 20 June, completing the hospice’s flagship 10-mile fundraising challenge while dressed in bright neon, fluorescent and flashing accessories in support of local hospice care.
The total, which continues to grow, has been achieved through participant fundraising, sponsorship and community donations, with organisers confirming that sponsorship will remain open until 31 August, giving supporters more time to contribute.
Funds raised from the event will help the Countess of Brecknock Hospice continue providing compassionate care and support to patients and their families across the local community.
Organisers thanked everyone who took part, as well as those who sponsored walkers or donated to the appeal, describing the community’s generosity as overwhelming.

Looking back on the event, the hospice highlighted the memorable atmosphere created throughout the evening, from the excitement at the start line and colourful outfits to the determination shown by participants as they completed the 10-mile route.
The event was supported by a number of local businesses, with Richard Oliver, Hampshire Land Lettings & Sales & Bournes Estate Agents serving as the principal sponsor. The hospice also thanked Tesco and S&J Maddocks Funeral Directors for providing refreshments that kept walkers fuelled throughout the night.
Andover Radio also played its part in the evening, with presenter Ben Tuffin helping to send participants on their way by leading the countdown and welcoming walkers over the megaphone at the start of the event.

The 10@10 Late Night Walk has become one of the hospice’s most significant annual fundraising events, bringing together friends, families, colleagues and community groups for an evening that combines fundraising with a strong sense of local spirit.
Following this year’s record-breaking success, organisers have already confirmed the date for next year’s event. The 2027 10@10 Late Night Walk will take place on Saturday 19 June 2027, with the hospice encouraging supporters to save the date and help make next year’s event even bigger.
The Countess of Brecknock Hospice said the record-breaking total would not have been possible without the generosity of participants, volunteers, sponsors and supporters, thanking everyone involved for helping to make 10@10 2026 its biggest and most successful event to date.
