Abbotts Ann Primary School will be holding its biannual jumble sale soon.
The event will be on Saturday 21 April 2018, from 1pm – 3pm, offering a treasure trove of bargains for the keen-eyed shopper.
The school has held the twice-yearly sales for more than a decade and they have never dipped in popularity, with keen customers queuing for more than an hour – and around the block to get in.
At previous sales, bargains such as brand new curtains for 50p, televisions for £3 and golf clubs for £1.50, have sat alongside the usual clothes, books, toys and bric-a-brac.
Entry to the sale costs 50p for adults and is free for children.
Refreshments such as tea, coffee and home-made cakes will be on sale to sustain hungry shoppers.
Ali Palmer, chair of the school PTA, said, “Spring is in the air, so why not clear out those closets and blitz those bedrooms and donate your unwanted goods to our jumble sale. Anything left at the end of the sale is donated to Bags 2 School and the ABC Charity and one hundred percent of profits go to the school’s children for vital equipment for sports and learning.”
For more information, including jumble collection please call 01264 710244, for Jane Wiggs, School Secretary.
