September 3rd saw 8 enthusiastic runners participate in the world’s first fully inclusive mass participation event, Parallel London, raising over £1000 for the charity.

The event, held at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, saw thousands of people of all ages and abilities, gather together to run any one of five trails; from a 100m run, to a 10km track.

Entirely accessible and family friendly, the event was accented by a free family festival comprising live music, workshops, and food & drink.

Tammi, one of the participants and a resident of Enham Trust, said of the race “I really enjoyed taking part in Parallel London! It was a great day, and we all had such a good time.

All funds raised by this event go towards Enham Trust’s ongoing work; supporting over 8,500 disabled people across the country each year in the cornerstone areas of their lives by providing housing, care, and various employment & skills opportunities to ensure each customer gains independence, choice, and control over every aspect of their lives.
