A cool and refreshing fundraiser took place last Friday night, May 31st, at Andover Leisure Centre. Finding Freedom From Abuse, a local domestic abuse charity, hosted a Late-Night Swim to raise vital funds for their cause.
The event, held during the leisure centre’s closing hours from 10:30pm to midnight, saw 35 enthusiastic participants take to the pool. Their dedication and generosity resulted in a fantastic £195 being collected for Finding Freedom From Abuse. These funds will directly benefit survivors of domestic abuse and support the charity’s mission of promoting safety and healing.
Finding Freedom From Abuse extends their sincere gratitude to Danny Churcher and his supportive staff at the Andover Leisure Centre for their continued partnership and collaboration. A special thank you goes to Iris Anderson, whose idea sparked the event, and for her tireless time and energy in making it a success.
For those who were unable to attend but would still like to donate here.
