Andover RFC is inviting new and returning players to join its Men’s Senior pre-season training ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The club is holding a fun open taster session on Tuesday 30 June 2026 for anyone interested in getting into rugby or returning to the game.
The session is open to all levels of experience, whether players are completely new, have played before or are still deciding what to do this season.
Andover RFC says the taster session is simply a chance to discover the sport, have a go and meet the squad.
The club’s official pre-season campaign then begins on Thursday 2 July 2026.
Training will take place every Tuesday and Thursday at Charlton Playing Fields while the club’s pitch gets ready.
All sessions will start at 7.15 pm.
Andy Waite, Director of Rugby at Andover RFC, said:
“Tuesday we have a fun open session for any new player wanting to get into rugby. It doesn’t matter what level you are or what you’ve decided to do yet this season, it’s purely a chance to discover and have a go.
“Then from Thursday, we start our pre-season campaign.We look forward to returning and new faces. We welcome all levels and experience.”
