Andover Muay Thai star Charlie Guest has announced himself on the world stage after securing an impressive stoppage victory in his long-awaited debut for ONE Championship.
The highly decorated fighter, who has already claimed ISKA World, WBC European and WBC British kickboxing titles during his career, delivered a composed and clinical performance against New Zealand’s Sam Fitzgerald in a featherweight Muay Thai contest.
Guest faced a stern test in the opening round as both fighters exchanged elbows and knees in the clinch. Fitzgerald enjoyed moments of success with several body shots, but the Andover athlete remained patient and weathered the pressure.
