Andover once again demonstrated its community spirit as the 2025 Andover Soapbox Derby raised an impressive £6,000 for local charity Koala. The cheque presentation took place this week, with heartfelt thanks given to the teams, sponsors, volunteers, and traders who made the event such a success.

The Final Figure
The final total donated to Koala was £6,000 when the surplus of £5,759 was generously rounded up to £6,000.
The Soapbox Derby continues to be one of the most anticipated events in the town’s calendar – offering thrilling races, a buzzing market atmosphere, and above all, a chance to raise vital funds for local causes.
Organisers say next year’s chosen charity we will be raising funds for is Raising Twenty1, formerly Andover Twenty1. This group do amazing things supporting people with Downs Syndrome and those around them.
