Andover’s own Sultan ‘SID’ Dajani, a well-known community figure, philanthropist, and chemist, is proudly supporting a world-first expedition to Antarctica led by renowned adventurer and TV personality Jordan Wylie MBE.
SID, who owns Wainwrights Chemist, a multi-award-winning pharmacy in Bishopstoke and resides in Andover has proudly announced his sponsorship of the globally recognised adventurer, author and former soldier, Jordan Wylie MBE, as he prepares for his world-first Antarctic Odyssey 2025 expedition.
The pioneering journey, set for December 2025 will see Jordan ski across a remote region of the Antarctic wilderness, towing all his supplies, to summit a pristine, unclimbed mountain peak in the Heritage Range of the Ellsworth Mountains. The ambitious expedition is tied to raising £100,000 for the Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK (ACCT UK) and inspiring young people about the importance of resilience and conservation.
To mark the partnership and commitment to public health, Jordan visited Wainwrights Chemist for a health check with the pharmacist and owner, Sultan ‘SID’ Dajani, on Saturday 25 October. The two have known each other for several years through mutual charity projects and community initiatives to support good causes.
