Angel Inn Launches Christmas Giving Tree to Support Local Families

The Angel Inn has announced a heart-warming new initiative aimed at supporting individuals and families in the local community who may be struggling this festive season.

Inspired by Dunelm’s well-known “Delivery Christmas” campaign, the pub is launching its own Delivery Christmas – Giving Tree, encouraging residents to come together and ensure no one is forgotten this Christmas.

Set to take place on 24th December, the Giving Tree will be displayed inside The Angel Inn, decorated not only with festive ornaments but with anonymous tags representing Christmas wishes from local people in need.

How the Giving Tree Works

Wishes submitted by individuals and families facing hardship will be written on anonymous tags, which will then be placed on the tree. Visitors are invited to pick a tag, purchase the requested gift, and return it to The Angel Inn before the deadline.

All donated gifts will either be delivered directly or arranged for confidential collection, ensuring that every recipient receives their gift with dignity and privacy.

Support Available for Those in Need

The Angel Inn is also encouraging anyone who needs a little extra help this Christmas to get in touch. No explanation or personal details are required, and all requests will be handled sensitively and anonymously.

To request a tag, individuals can send a private message to The Angel Inn’s Facebook page or contact the team via email. The deadline for tag requests is 12th December, with the gift return deadline set for 21st December.

Landlady of the Angel Inn, Jodie said the initiative is about fostering kindness and community spirit: “Christmas can be a difficult time for many, and we want to ensure everyone in our community feels supported. Even a small act of generosity can make a huge difference.”

With the Giving Tree now in place, The Angel Inn is inviting the public to take part and help spread joy to local families this festive season.
