Police are appealing for information following an incident in which a cyclist was injured in the Abbotswood area of Romsey.
The incident took taken place between 10am and 11.40am on Monday 13 April, when a cyclist came off his bike on Cupernham Lane, near the junction with Osprey Place and Abbotswood Nature Reserve, sustaining a fractured knee.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident, and officers are asking anyone who may have witnessed what happened to come forward.
In particular, police are keen to identify the driver of a blue car, described as an elderly woman, who was reportedly at the scene shortly after the incident but left before officers arrived. She is considered a key witness and may have important information.
