Appeal made after cash and jewellery stolen in Andover burglary

Police are appealing for information after jewellery was stolen during a house burglary in Andover.

It took place sometime between 3pm and 4pm on Tuesday 15th May shortly a family left their home in Alexandra Road.

When they returned just after 4pm, they found their home had been broken into via a rear conservatory window.

An untidy search had been carried out and a substantial amount of cash and jewellery was stolen.

An investigation is now underway and officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw something suspicious in the area at this time.

Detective Constable Matthew McCarthy said “This burglary took place in a busy residential area at a time of day when people would have been out and about.
