Police Appeal for Information About Thursday Night Fight
An assault in Andover High Street has brought a police appeal for information.
Between 10 and 10.15pm Thursday, January 17, two men were involved in a disturbance and fight outside the Danebury Hotel in the town centre.
One man, aged 40 and from Barton Stacey, received a bite to his hand. The other, a 48-year-old Andover man, suffered a head injury.
The Andover man was arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed, pending further police enquiries, until February 6. The Barton Stacey man was arrested on suspicion of affray and bailed until February 5.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the altercation to contact them. Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Kayleigh Rush at Andover on 101.
