Police are appealing for witnesses following the attempted theft of a cash machine in Andover early this morning.
Officers were called following a break-in at the One Stop shop in Colenzo Drive, between 2.30am and 3.15am on Saturday (17 February).
Entry was gained to the room where a cash machine was but despite attempts, the cash machine was not removed and no cash was taken.
A car was seen driving off from the area at around the same time.
Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area.
It happened in a residential area, so someone may have seen something that could help.
