Bev Botha Named New Chair Of Andover BID

Ange chaired her final board meeting on 23 September and will step away from the Board to focus on leading Test Valley Citizens Advice through Local Government Reorganisation.

She had served as BID Chair for more than four years and was a Board member from the BID’s early days in 2019, guiding the organisation through its second-term ballot in 2024 and the introduction of a new Executive Team earlier this year.

Bev, owner of High Street business The Travelling Cupcake, has sat on the BID Board since its inception and served on the original steering committee. She said:

“Having been at the initial meetings many years ago it is a real honour to now become Andover BID Chair. I am proudly passionate about Andover and its potential. These are exciting times for the Town Centre with substantial investment coming in and I want to help businesses develop and flourish.

“I’d like to say thank you to Ange Moon for all her hard work and dedication over the years and she leaves with all the very best wishes of the Board.

“I believe Andover BID should be a strong and active voice for the town centre and I am convinced that we can help new businesses come and take advantage of the opportunities the regeneration project will bring.

“I am always in and around at the Travelling Cupcake so if you want to have a chat and talk about our town centre future please do pop in.”
