Heritage & Hope – Andover Black History Vibes is set to return on Saturday, 4th October 2025, bringing a vibrant celebration of culture, community, and heritage to Andover Town Mill Park. Running from 11:00am until 5:00pm, the free event aims to showcase cultural diversity while offering a lively day of food, music, dance, and community connection.
Now in its third year, Heritage & Hope has established itself as a highlight of Andover’s cultural calendar. This year, organisers are placing a greater emphasis on community involvement, inviting groups, communities, and individuals from diverse backgrounds—including Caribbean, African, Asian, and others—to take part. Participants are encouraged to host free stands displaying cultural artefacts, traditional items, or personal stories that reflect their heritage.
In addition to performances and food stalls, the event will feature exhibitions and artefacts celebrating the richness of different cultures and beliefs. Local businesses will also have the opportunity to exhibit and sell items, further strengthening ties within the community.
Organisers say the day is designed to bring people together, promote understanding, and celebrate the contributions of diverse communities as part of Andover’s Black History Month.
Heritage & Hope – Andover Black History Vibes promises to be an inspiring and inclusive event, open to all, where residents and visitors alike can share in the spirit of culture, heritage, and hope for the future.
