Charlie Guest Set For Global Stage After Signing With ONE Championship

Andover kickboxing star Charlie Guest has signed a multi-fight deal with global martial arts giant ONE Championship and is set to make his debut on June 27th in a huge Muay Thai showdown.

Guest, an ISKA world champion and WBC European and British kickboxing champion, described the signing as a lifelong dream becoming reality as he prepares to step onto one of the biggest stages in combat sports.

Announcing the news on social media, the Andover fighter said he was “proud” to officially join the organisation, widely regarded as the largest martial arts promotion in the world.

Guest said: “This is something I’ve worked towards my entire life, and I truly believe this is only the beginning. I can’t wait to show the world exactly what I’m capable of. Dreams into reality.”

He also thanked those who have supported him throughout his journey, including his team, coaches, training partners, sponsors, friends and family.

Founded with the aim of showcasing the true beauty of martial arts through authentic heroes and world-class events, ONE Championship has grown into Asia’s largest sports media property. Headquartered in Singapore, the organisation promotes the values of martial arts including respect, courage, integrity and humility, while sharing inspirational athlete stories designed to motivate audiences around the world. ONE Championship broadcasts to more than 190 countries through major partners including Amazon Prime Video, Sky Sports and Disney+ Hotstar, and is renowned for staging spectacular events featuring some of the world’s best martial artists.

The local fighter now faces one of the toughest tests of his career as he takes on towering French striker Bampara Kouyate in a featherweight Muay Thai clash.

Kouyate heads into the bout with an impressive reputation, having secured victories over both Luke Lessei and Jo Nattawut while earning recognition for his devastating knockout power.

For Guest, the fight marks another major milestone in a career that has already seen him collect world, European and British titles.

With the June 27th event fast approaching, Guest made his intentions clear with a confident message to fans and rivals alike.

“Time to show the world,” he said. “I’m coming for it all.”
