This December, local country band The Hundys are bringing a night of country music and dancing to the heart of Hampshire.
Having established themselves on the local music scene earlier this year, the band has built a growing following across Hampshire and further afield with their high-energy live shows. On Friday 18 December, they’ll be joined by special guests Boot Scootin’ Line Dancing, whose classes have attracted a loyal local community, and Dorset-based country singer Charlie Woodford.
Lead singer Jake Ward said:
“Country music isn’t a trend in the UK, it’s here to stay. With country artists climbing the charts and festivals such as Country 2 Country continuing to grow, it’s clear the appetite for country music is stronger than ever. We’ve met so many people this year who love the music, the atmosphere and the community that comes with it. We’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received and can’t wait to finish our first year with a big bang.”

Since playing their first show together as a trio in February, The Hundys have performed across Hampshire and the wider South, building audiences and gaining momentum throughout the year. This special Christmas show at The Lights will be the perfect way to round off a breakthrough first year.
Expect favourites from Luke Combs, Ella Langley, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Chris Stapleton, Shania Twain, John Denver and more.
Whether you’re a lifelong country fan or you’ve just started getting into the genre, expect a welcoming atmosphere, plenty of dancing and a packed night of country classics.
Doors open at 6pm, with the show starting at 7pm.
