A dispersal order was put in place in part of Andover following reports of anti-social behaviour.

Dispersal Order June 2026

Police said the order was introduced after reports of anti-social behaviour in the Watermills Park area.

Officers implemented the dispersal order under Section 35 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 at 7.40 pm on Friday 26 June 2026.

The order covered the designated area shown on the police map, including Watermills Park, Horseshoe Bridge, the Clatford area and Asda on Anton Mill Road.

It was due to remain in place until 7.40 pm on Saturday 27 June 2026.

Dispersal orders give police the power to direct individuals to leave a designated area and prevent them from returning during the specified period.

Failure to comply with a dispersal order is a criminal offence and can lead to arrest.

Police said they remain committed to tackling anti-social behaviour in Andover and will continue to monitor the situation to help keep the community safe.
