The Food Standards Agency has issued a product recall notice warning that the affected products are unsafe to eat.

The recall applies to Nutella Croissant, sold in packs of four.

The affected batch codes are L126Z39 and L127Z39.

  • Products with batch code L126Z39 have a best before date of 06 May 2027.
  • Products with batch code L127Z39 have a best before date of 07 May 2027.

The Food Standards Agency says the product may contain pieces of metal, making it unsafe to eat.

Ferrero UK is recalling the affected product, and point of sale notices will be displayed in stores selling it. These notices explain why the product is being recalled and what customers should do if they have bought it.

Anyone who has bought one of the affected products is advised not to eat it.

Customers should either dispose of the product or return it to the store where it was bought for a full refund.

Ferrero says that, in the UK, only Nutella Croissant is affected by the recall and no other Ferrero product is affected.
