Royal British Legion’s Annual Poppy Dance
The Royal British Legion Club in Andover is preparing for an evening of live music, dancing and entertainment this November as its Annual Poppy Dance returns.
Taking place on Friday 6 November 2026, the event will feature live music from Cover Girlz, promising an enjoyable evening of popular songs and entertainment as part of the club’s annual Poppy celebrations.
The event will run from 7.30pm until midnight, giving guests plenty of time to enjoy the music, hit the dance floor and spend an evening with friends.
Cover Girlz are a popular local live act who were recently named finalists in the Best Live Act category at the inaugural Andover Music Awards 2026, held at The Lights in October.
Their recognition at the awards highlighted their contribution to the local music scene, with the group earning a place alongside fellow finalists Stonepig and COVE.
As well as live music, the evening will feature a raffle, while the club’s bar will remain open throughout the event.
The Annual Poppy Dance provides an opportunity for members of the community to come together during the Remembrance period, enjoying an evening of entertainment while supporting a special event in the Royal British Legion’s calendar.
Tickets are priced at £10 per person and are available to purchase from the club’s bar or through its website.
Organisers are encouraging people to gather their friends, put on their dancing shoes and join them for an evening of great music, good company and a welcoming atmosphere.
