Thruxton Mass Attack Duathlon
Athletes of all abilities are invited to take on one of the UK’s fastest duathlon courses as the Thruxton Mass Attack Duathlon returns to Thruxton Circuit on Sunday 4 October.
The popular event also serves as a GB 2027 World Duathlon Age Group Sprint and Standard Distance Qualifier, making it an exciting opportunity for competitors hoping to earn a place on the Great Britain Age Group Team.
Set on the famous Thruxton Race Circuit near Andover, the event takes place on a wide, smooth tarmac course that is ideal for both beginners and experienced duathletes. Competitors can also enjoy a fantastic event atmosphere, with live commentary, music, spectator viewing, a live Facebook feed and refreshments available from the circuit café.
Participants can choose between two race formats:
- Standard Distance – Starts at 8am (non-drafting)
- Sprint Distance – Draft legal with a 12pm female mass start and 2pm open mass start
Athletes wishing to qualify for the GB Age Group Team must register their intent via the British Triathlon website before 5pm on Friday 2 October 2026. The sprint race is draft legal, and competitors are advised to familiarise themselves with the British Triathlon draft legal rules before racing.
Early entry is recommended, as the event regularly sells out.
