One of Andover’s best-known nightlife venues looks set to make a comeback, with plans to reopen the former Cameo & Vinyl nightclub on London Street under the name ATIK Andover.

The announcement was made on social media, where a new page operating under the name ATIK Andover revealed that work had already begun on bringing the former nightclub back to life.
In a short but exciting announcement, the venue posted:
“ATIK Andover is coming, work has begun, keep an eye out for our Grand Opening Tickets 🎫”
The news signals a potential return of late-night entertainment to the prominent London Street building, which has been closed since Cameo & Vinyl shut its doors in January 2025.
For many years, the venue was a familiar destination for people enjoying a night out in Andover, attracting generations of partygoers through its various identities.
Before becoming Cameo & Vinyl, the building was home to the nightclub Life, while its history as an entertainment venue stretches back even further.
The building originally opened as the Savoy Cinema in 1938, later becoming a nightclub and establishing itself as one of the town’s most recognisable entertainment venues.
Following the closure of Cameo & Vinyl in January 2025, the future of the building remained uncertain.
The substantial town centre property was subsequently marketed by commercial property agents Savills, with a reported freehold asking price of £1 million. The building was also available to rent for approximately £50,000 per year.
Now, the announcement of ATIK Andover suggests that the venue could once again become part of the town’s evening and night-time economy.
The ATIK name will be familiar to nightclub-goers across the country, having previously been associated with the national nightclub operator Rekom UK, formerly The Deltic Group.
However, it has not yet been confirmed whether the new Andover venue has any connection to the former national nightclub business or is being operated independently.
Details about the new venue, including its owners, opening date, planned entertainment and any changes to the building, have yet to be formally announced.
Love Andover has contacted the owners of ATIK Andover for comment and further information about their plans for the venue.
The announcement has raised the prospect of a return to nightclub entertainment in the town centre, potentially bringing additional footfall to London Street and surrounding businesses.
For now, those hoping to return to the dancefloor will have to wait a little longer, with ATIK Andover encouraging people to keep an eye on its social media channels for details of its grand opening and tickets.
Love Andover will bring readers further updates as more information becomes available.
