Thruxton Hendy Performance Day 2023

A free family and petrol-head funday event for the whole family is coming to Thruxton in June.

The Hendy Performance Open Day at Thruxton Race Circuit is a free family and motoring event. It’s hosted by Hendy Group and will be held on Sunday June 25th at Thruxton Race Circuit.

Tickets for the day-long event, supported by 95.9FM Andover Radio, are FREE, but you must register by clicking here.

Free tickets are limited.

Entertainment is set to include motoring attractions, live music and a new dedicated kids’ zone activity area.

Organisers Hendy Group have lots of entertainment planned which includes high-octane attractions on the track as well as hundreds of performance cars on display. There are also trade stands, live music on the big stage (to be announced) and guest speakers which include Top Gear co-presenter Tiff Needell.

In addition to fans’ own cars on display there will be the very latest performance models from a wide range of manufactures including Maserati and Lotus, special guests including Aron Taylor-Smith, James Hedley and Tiff Needell.

The event sees the return of stunt driver Paul Swift who will provide breath-taking live performances on the track to entertain crowds with his precision driving.

The Kids’ Zone will offer plenty to entertain children of all ages and will include an inflatable village, trampolines, bumper cars, and face painters as the event promises to be bigger and better than ever.

During the day Thruxton Race Circuit will also be operating its skid pan experience and junior driving sessions which can be booked and paid for directly with the circuit.

Organisers Hendy Group have been operating for over 160 years, ever since Frederick Adolphus Hendy opened a bicycle shop in Whitchurch in 1859.  Today the company remains a family-run business, with the fifth generation of the Hendy family at the helm.

Hendy Group CEO Paul Hendy told us, “Thruxton is the perfect venue to showcase some amazing cars but also to provide some great entertainment for the family.

“This year we have introduced more family attractions to sit alongside the cars, on-track entertainment and special guests.”

Registration is now open for the free event at https://www.hpopenday.co.uk/ with the option of general parking for all the family at the motor circuit and for performance car drivers to book a space to display their own car.
