Have you been a victim of fraud by this man?

Hampshire Police are appealing for information to identify the male in the images released today due to multiple allegations of fraud.

The man is alleged to have committed fraud in the Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Basingstoke and Southampton areas, although Police say there may be many more instances that have not been reported.

It is alleged that the male approached people and pretends he is from a nearby off-licence. He then offers to sell alcohol at cost price as the store is closing down soon.

He accompanies the victim to the rear of the store or nearby, takes the money from them claiming that he is then going to the front of the store and would bring the goods out of the rear. The scam is only being realised when no one comes out of the rear of the store and the victim goes to investigate.

Police are keen to speak to the male over the allegations, as well as identify further victims that have yet to come forward and report it.

If you have any information to assist Police identify the male, or are a victim of the scam.
