Help Andover Gym Club Bounce Back

Due to Andover Gym club being closed and no sessions operating they are asking if we can help to keep their facility running.

The club has been established within Andover, Hampshire for 40 years and within the Salto Centre at Charlton, Andover since October 1998.  It is at the forefront of Tumbling and has 2 members who are part of the current Men’s Senior Tumbling Team World Champions and current Women’s Senior Tumbling Team World Champions.

Throughout the clubs history it has tried to offer classes at a price suitable to any household budget so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy gymnastics.  The club runs classes for children as young as 1 with their Gym-Mini classes and can progress through to recreational classes.  During these recreational classes it gives the renowned coaches the chance to select the future tumblers and children can be invited to join the tumbling squad with the chance to compete within the UK and nationally.

With the gym currently closed, they are finding it near impossible to make ends meet. They have received a Sport England Emergency Fund grant towards the insurance and rent costs for April through July. But have not been eligible for any of the business grants from the local council.

They have set up a fundraising page to secure funding to guarantee the future strength of the club and revolutionise how the sport will be coached going into the future. Click here for details

Visit their Facebook page, here, to see how they have kept the children from the club active during this difficult time.
