Local DJ Chris Burford has made a career out of being a DJ for the last 40 years.
He is sharing his experience for budding DJ’s and says, “I’m looking forward to sharing my experience in how to make a career in the music industry.”
In collaboration with 95.9FM Andover Radio, Chris will be hosting a number of ‘Introduction to DJ’ Workshops at Love Andover HQ. The first is a free taster session on Tuesday March 10th 2020.
“Over the coming months I hope to show aspiring DJs over 16 years old all aspects of the music business from learning how to mix, getting audience interaction and even bookkeeping, creating a business plan and what equipment to buy.”
This first taster session will be free and will also provide a short session on the differences of audience interaction through broadcasting and being a radio presenter.
This first session will also include guest DJs Ashley Riggs and Stephen MLS Ward. Future sessions will look at social media, video creation and marketing.
