A familiar face from Andover is heading back to television screens as adventurer, author and former soldier Jordan Wylie MBE returns as one of the elite hunters in the brand-new series of Celebrity Hunted on Channel 4, helping raise money for Stand Up To Cancer. The latest series begins on Monday 3 August at 9pm.
Jordan, who has become renowned for taking on some of the world’s toughest endurance challenges while supporting charitable causes, will once again join Chief Hunter Ray Howard and the specialist investigations team as they attempt to track down a new line-up of celebrity fugitives attempting to disappear across mainland Britain.
In the high-pressure series, the celebrity contestants must evade capture for 14 days without the comforts of their everyday lives. Every move is monitored as the hunters deploy cutting-edge technology including CCTV, automatic number plate recognition, drones and cyber intelligence in a relentless bid to locate them.
This year’s celebrity line-up features an eclectic mix of famous faces, including Strictly Come Dancing professionals Amy Dowden MBE and Carlos Gu, Love Island stars Chris Taylor and Toby Aromolaran, presenters JJ Chalmers and Sophie Morgan, comedians Jen Brister and Laura Smyth, siblings Scarlette and Stuart Douglas, plus comedian Brian Conley and his daughter Lucy.
Jordan’s return to the programme continues an extraordinary career that has seen him transition from military service to becoming an internationally recognised adventurer, motivational speaker, bestselling author and philanthropist. Alongside his television work, he has inspired audiences through remarkable expeditions and fundraising projects, including ambitious world-first challenges and a UK theatre tour that began in his hometown of Andover.
