Local community group Kick Out The Stigma is rallying behind residents affected by the devastating fire that struck Andover on Sunday, 1st June. In a true show of solidarity, the group is hosting an in-house friendly football match this evening (Friday) at their home ground in Enham, with a 6:30pm kick-off.

Known for their ongoing commitment to mental health and community wellbeing, Kick Out The Stigma have wasted no time in organising the charity fixture, with all funds raised on the night being donated directly to those impacted by the recent blaze.
A spokesperson for the group said:
“We’re all about supporting where we can and looking after our community. After what happened last weekend, we knew we had to come together and do something. We want to help however possible, and this is one way we can give back.”
The group is calling on the people of Andover to come along, show support, and donate if they are able. The event promises not only an evening of grassroots football but also a powerful reminder of what makes the town so special.
“It’s moments like this – despite the upset – that Andover shows its real strength. It’s always remarkable to be part of such an amazing community. Andover, YOU are amazing.”
Everyone is welcome to attend, and donations of any size will be gratefully received to help those rebuilding their lives after the fire.
For those unable to attend but wishing to contribute, Kick Out The Stigma will also be sharing information on how to donate online in the coming days.
