After a pandemic-induced pause, LinkedIn Local Andover is making a much-anticipated return, offering an evening of real conversations and local connections. The event will take place on Tuesday 6 May at 6.00pm at ACE (Andover Community Engage), the vibrant community hub on Bridge Street.
The relaxed networking evening is being organised by Andrew Middleton, a familiar face to many in the Andover business scene. He previously ran LinkedIn Local events in the town, which quickly became known for their warm atmosphere and genuine sense of community.

“I ran these events before Covid and they always had such great energy,” said Andrew. “Now, with ACE breathing life back into Bridge Street and showing what grassroots community can do, it felt like the perfect place to bring LinkedIn Local back.”
Unlike traditional networking meetups, LinkedIn Local is built on the idea of no pitches, no pressure – just meaningful conversations and human connection. It’s open to professionals, small business owners, freelancers, and anyone curious about building relationships in the local area.
ACE (Andover Community Engage), which is hosting the event, is itself a shining example of grassroots community spirit. Founded by Tania Hall, inspired by her grandmothers’ legacy of service and kindness, the volunteer-led space has grown into a vital support hub. From a clothing exchange and baby bank to a youth drop-in and community fridge, ACE continues to meet the real needs of local residents.
Tickets for the event are priced at £6 and can be booked via Eventbrite: Book here
