Police confirm a man was arrested following a fight in London Street that prompted a late-night emergency response and air ambulance attendance.

Hampshire Police have confirmed that officers were called to London Street, Andover, at 10.49 pm on Sunday 13 July, following reports of a fight outside a pub.
According to police, a man had been seen attacking another man and a woman, before members of the public intervened. The man believed to be responsible then sustained injuries during a second incident involving bystanders.
He is also reported to have damaged the doors of another pub in the area during the disturbance.
A 36-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of:
- Causing grievous bodily harm with intent
- A public order offence
He remains in custody while enquiries continue.
The incident prompted a large emergency response, including the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, which landed at Vigo Road recreation ground. A Critical Care Team, consisting of a doctor and specialist paramedic, treated multiple patients before returning to base at Thruxton.
Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with further information to come forward.
