A man has been charged with a number of offences after two people suffered stab wounds during a serious incident in Andover.
Police have issued an update following the incident in Till Close, which happened at around 10pm on Thursday 17 September.
Officers attended an address where a man and a woman, both aged in their 40s, were found with stab wounds to their upper bodies.
Both were taken to hospital for treatment.
Police said a third man intervened during the incident and sustained a minor injury to his forearm.
Nathan Hemming, 26, of Till Close, Andover, has now been charged with:
- Two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent
- Assaulting a person thereby occasioning actual bodily harm
- Assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty
- Possessing a knife blade or sharp-pointed article in a public place
Hemming is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today, Saturday 19 September.
The charges follow his arrest at the scene on Thursday evening.
