Sponsored and judged by Parker Bullen LLP, the Small Business of the Year Award category was open to Test Valley businesses employing up to 15 people who could demonstrate quality customer service, recent successes and future challenges, and achieving targets.

The Small Business of the Year category is always a very popular one because at least three quarters of all of our businesses are small.

The finalists in this category for 2019 are:

Mark Lello, Partner and Head of Company & Commercial Department at Parker Bullen LLP, commented of the Test Valley Business Awards:

“Parker Bullen LLP are delighted to be sponsoring the Small Business of the Year Award this year as a Gold Sponsor of the Test Valley Business Awards 2019.  We are fully committed to the Andover and Test Valley business community and privileged to be involved in this exciting event.”

As well as revealing and celebrating this year’s winners, the Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony provides an invaluable opportunity for up to 200 local business people to network in a relaxed and informal setting.

David Bonthuys of Martial Art World commented:

“It is an absolute privilege to be selected as a small business of the year finalist for the Test Valley Business Awards.

“With the competition so strong, this award really does mean a great deal to our team.

“As an established professional Martial Arts school working within the Test Valley community for over 25 years, the award would serve as a thank you to all of the thousands of students that we have supported over the years.

Martial Art World would also like to thank the awards committee and Parker Bullen for recognising our ongoing contribution to the local community.”

The Test Valley Business Awards Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony is supported by an array of generous local businesses, the Awards’ sponsors, including this year’s Special Sponsors Barratt Homes.

Tickets for the Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony on 12th September are available to book via the Awards’ website or by visiting: https://tvba2019galadinner.eventbrite.co.uk, and cost just £60 to include welcome drink & 3 course meal.

Now in its 15th year, the Test Valley Business Awards – run by a steering group of volunteers – has become a well-established platform to champion business excellence. It is a great way of shining a light particularly on the many new and small businesses in the region, all doing interesting and valuable work, but often out of sight.
