Millway House Residents Enjoy Festive Cinderella Performance by Carousel Theatre Company

Residents at Millway House in Andover enjoyed a touch of Christmas magic as the Carousel Theatre Company visited to perform their lively production of Cinderella.

The festive pantomime took place on Tuesday 9 December, transforming the home into a world of glass slippers, wicked stepsisters and classic pantomime humour. Created by the company’s founders, Emily Wade and Griff Mellhuish, the energetic retelling featured toe-tapping music, familiar catchphrases and plenty of songs for residents to join in with.

After the performance, residents shared mulled wine with the cast and spent time reflecting on Christmas memories, exchanging stories about long-standing traditions and favourite festive moments.

Sarah Holland, Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Millway House, said:

“We absolutely loved welcoming the Carousel Theatre Company back for their fabulous performance of Cinderella. They visit us twice a year, and our residents always look forward to seeing familiar faces bringing classic stories to life. It’s a real highlight of our festive celebrations.”
