Unity Mobility runs a mobility equipment hire service which is based at the main Unity offices in Andover. They offer short term hires for those wanting to access shops and other locations in the Andover Town Centre as well as a longer-term hire service for those who need equipment for longer periods, to cover family visits, holidays and days out.
Mobility scooters provide a lifeline to thousands of disabled and elderly people, giving them the ability to get out and about in spite of mobility problems. Mobility scooters are designed to help elderly or disabled people retain their independence.
Mrs C hired a Portable scooter from Unity she said, “We took a portable scooter with us in our caravan for 3 weeks, it really did make such a difference and i got to see so much more than i usually would, it was great value for money. “

Who can use a mobility scooter?
You can only drive a mobility scooter if you have trouble walking because of an injury, physical disability or medical condition. Further details can be found on the Gov.uk website here
Unity are running a Christmas special offer. If you book a hire for 3 Saturdays in December you only need to pay for 2. Hire costs just £4 a day.
