The new nightclub is already making waves in Andover’s nightlife scene, announcing a major Boxing Day performance as preparations continue for its November opening.
Andover’s nightlife is set for a major boost this Christmas as Dappy, best known as a founding member of British hip-hop group N-Dubz, prepares to take to the stage at ATIK Andover on Saturday 26 December 2026.
The chart-topping rapper and singer will perform at the former Cameo and Vinyl nightclub on London Street, with doors opening at 9pm for what promises to be one of the town’s biggest festive nights out.
The announcement comes as excitement builds around the arrival of ATIK Andover, which is currently transforming the former nightclub ahead of a planned opening in November. An official opening date has yet to be confirmed.
With the building having been closed since January 2025, the arrival of a new operator and the promise of big-name entertainment marks an exciting new chapter for Andover’s night-time economy.
From N-Dubz to Solo Chart Success
Dappy, whose real name is Costadinos Contostavlos, rose to fame in the mid-2000s as one-third of British hip-hop group N-Dubz alongside Tulisa and Fazer.
The group became one of the UK’s most recognisable urban music acts, producing a string of hits including I Need You, Playing with Fire, Papa Can You Hear Me? and Number 1, their collaboration with Tinchy Stryder.
Following the group’s initial split, Dappy launched a successful solo career, reaching number one in the UK Singles Chart in 2011 with No Regrets.
His distinctive vocals, energetic stage presence and catalogue of hits have helped him maintain a loyal following throughout his career.
The group later reunited, bringing their music back to audiences across the country and introducing their songs to a new generation of fans.
Now, music lovers in Andover will have the opportunity to see Dappy perform live in their hometown.
ATIK Bringing New Excitement to Andover
The announcement is particularly significant for ATIK Andover, which is preparing to breathe new life into one of the town’s best-known entertainment venues.
Previously operating as Cameo and Vinyl, the London Street nightclub was a popular destination for weekend revellers before closing its doors in January 2025.
ATIK is retaining the building’s familiar two-room layout while introducing a refreshed identity and upgraded entertainment experience.
The main room will focus on commercial dance, house, chart hits and R&B, supported by lighting, lasers, CO2 effects and a stage designed to create a high-energy clubbing atmosphere.
Meanwhile, the venue’s much-loved Vinyl room is undergoing a refurbishment, with plans to bring back classic sounds from the 1980s and 1990s.
Although an official opening date is still to be announced, the venue is expected to welcome its first customers during November.
The decision to secure an artist of Dappy’s profile for Boxing Day demonstrates ATIK’s ambitions to bring nationally recognised performers and major entertainment events back to the town.
For Andover, the investment in the London Street venue could help revitalise the local nightlife scene, offering residents more reasons to enjoy a night out closer to home.
Boxing Day Set for a Huge Celebration
ATIK has promised a lively Christmas party atmosphere for the event, with Dappy taking centre stage for a night of music, entertainment and festive celebrations.
With Boxing Day traditionally proving popular for nights out as friends and families reunite over Christmas, the addition of a live performance from a nationally recognised artist is expected to generate considerable interest.
Doors will open at 9pm on Saturday 26 December, with early bird tickets already available.
