A new boutique holistic wellbeing sanctuary has officially opened in Enham Alamein, just north of Andover, providing residents with a tranquil space dedicated to relaxation, emotional wellbeing, personal growth and transformational healing.

Chatty Flamingo Holistic Wellbeing Sanctuary, founded by Gillian Hughes, welcomed its first guests at Enham Hub on 6 July 2026. The new sanctuary has been created as a peaceful retreat where visitors can step away from the demands of everyday life and focus on restoring balance, improving wellbeing and reconnecting with themselves.
Built around the belief that wellbeing should be nurturing, empowering and deeply personal, the sanctuary offers a wide range of holistic experiences tailored to individual needs. Guests can choose from sessions focusing on relaxation, nervous system support, stress reduction, menopause support, sound healing, meditation, holistic facial and massage therapies, as well as personal development and spiritual growth.
Alongside these wellbeing experiences, Gillian specialises in helping clients work through unresolved emotional patterns, limiting beliefs and recurring life challenges using a combination of intuitive coaching, energy-based approaches and Forensic Healing.
Rather than repeatedly revisiting difficult past experiences, the approach aims to gently uncover and address the underlying causes of emotional challenges, confidence issues, relationship difficulties and feelings of being stuck, helping clients create lasting positive change.
At the heart of the sanctuary is The Flamingo Wayâ„¢, a unique wellbeing framework built around four key pillars: Rest, Heal, Transform and Flourish.
Experiences have been designed to support people wherever they are on their wellbeing journey, from 30-minute restorative sessions through to immersive Sanctuary Escapes and longer-term transformational wellbeing programmes.
The sanctuary itself has been carefully designed to provide a calming and restorative environment. Comfortable treatment beds and gravity chairs, soft blankets and pillows, therapeutic sound, gentle lighting and thoughtfully chosen wellbeing features all contribute to creating a space where guests can fully relax and unwind.
Unlike traditional treatment appointments, sessions are intentionally unhurried, allowing time for reflection and gentle reintegration before returning to daily life.
Founder Gillian Hughes said the new location represents an exciting new chapter for Chatty Flamingo.
“Over the last few years, Chatty Flamingo has continued to evolve alongside the needs of the people I support.
“Whilst many people initially come seeking relaxation, what I often discover is that beneath stress, overwhelm or anxiety there can be unresolved emotions, old stories or repeating patterns that are keeping them stuck.
“My passion is helping people create powerful inner change. Whether that’s through a nurturing sanctuary experience, emotional healing, energy balancing or transformational coaching, my aim is always the same: to help people feel lighter, clearer, more empowered and more like themselves again.
“Moving to Enham Alamein feels like the perfect next chapter. The peaceful rural setting creates the ideal environment for both deep relaxation and meaningful transformation, and I’m incredibly excited to welcome both existing and new guests into the sanctuary.”
Whether visitors are seeking a moment of calm, support during a challenging period of life, emotional healing or a deeper journey of personal transformation, Chatty Flamingo Holistic Wellbeing Sanctuary aims to offer a welcoming environment where wellbeing comes first.
The sanctuary’s message is simple: “Begin where you’re at. Come as you are. Leave feeling calm, lighter, balanced – more like you.”
