The Weyhill car boot sale was a huge success in it’s quest on Sunday (July 5) to donate proceeds to the NHS.
The popular boot sale in Weyhill received a great response and raised £767.80 and event organisers Graham and Nigel North pledge to top that up to £1000 all to be donated to the NHS.
Graham said “A big thank you to everyone who came along last Sunday, either to buy or sell. We have finally finished counting up all our takings on the gate and it came to £767.80 . We have decided to round that up from our own pockets to £1000 and this amount will be donated to NHS charities. Thank you to all our key workers – keep doing what you are doing“
Buyers and sellers flocked to the popular event which was well run and social distancing measures were applied.
The event will be running every Sunday until the end of September.
