The next school holiday is October half-term which takes place on the 24 October – 28 October. Here is our Half term guide of what’s on and available to keep our children entertained in Andover.
Great Local Places to visit with the children in Andover
October 23rd – October 31st 2021, Halloween fun aimed at the younger children
- Walkabout Characters (don’t worry not too scary!)
- Walk-through Spooky Barn
- Halloween Discos 1pm & 4pm
- Follow the Halloween Trail around the farm and earn yourself a treat
- Fancy Dress Parade 11:30am & 3:30pm (following the goat race!)
- Face Painting (additional charge)
Based in the Chantry centre , Andover. a play centre for toddlers and pre-schoolers. Come and discover a scaled-down street designed to inspire young children to explore and pretend to their hearts’ content.
On Bridge street, Andover. Join them for a SPOOKTASTIC half-term week on Monday 26th October until Sunday 1st November 2020. The Glo-Golf will be mysteriously transformed for the week, and extra treats will be added to ther drinks menu. Museum of the iron age/Andover Museum
Oct 26th – Oct 31st , 10am -4pm. Throughout the week they will have a Halloween themed activity, including a spooky trail, box available for a suggested donation of £1 per box. You can also try the spooky objects trail with glow in the dark stickers.
- Spooky Object Storytelling | Sat 23 – Sun 24 October, 11am – 12noon and 2 – 3pm. Find out the horrible histories behind our handling collections.
- Family Spooky Crafts | Wed 27 and Fri 29 October, 11am – 3pm.
- Myths and Legends of Andover | Tue 26 and Thu 28 October, 11am – 12pm and 2 – 3pm. Hear short stories about local myths and legends from Andover, such as the Wherwell Cockatrice.
Holding rare birds of prey, watching world-class flying displays learning and discovering facts about 130 birds of prey from owls to eagles during your visit.
October 21 10:00 am – October 31 5:00 pm, Join in for all the fun on the farm this Halloween Half Term, with their NEW interactive spooky trail to try and find all of our freaky friends down on the farm…… Plus book tickets to come and enjoy the Family Halloween Party on Saturday 30th October with the AMAZING Disco Dion!

Don’t forget to visit Canto Gelato in Andover high street this half term, on Thursday 28th they will be having an amazing face painter setting up a station and on Friday 29th they have the incredible David Major the magician (tickets only)
