Police name Andover motorist who died following Sutton Scotney collision

Hampshire Police are now in a position to confirm the name of the Andover driver who died following a collision in Sutton Scotney.

Kenneth Hamblen, 86, of Blendon Drive, Andover, died three days after the two vehicle collision at the junction of the A272 and A30 at Hill Farm Cross.

He was driving a silver Vauxhall Meriva and the other vehicle involved was a Mercedes Sprinter van.

The collision happened at around 1.12pm on 14th March and Mr Hamblen was taken to Southampton General Hospital but sadly died on 17th March.

Investigations into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing and officers would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened or anyone who has any dash cam footage.
