Poundland has issued an urgent recall of its 8PK HEART BALLOONS VDAY (Product Code: 939773, Barcode: 5045735005543) after the product failed a chemical safety test required under toy safety standards.
Customers are being advised not to use the balloons and to return them to any Poundland store for a full refund. No receipt is necessary for the return.
The affected balloons were sold as part of Poundland’s Valentine’s Day range and may pose a risk due to the chemical composition exceeding acceptable safety levels. While no incidents have been reported, the recall has been issued as a precaution to protect consumers.
Anyone who purchased the product is urged to stop using it immediately.
