Randall’s brace continues Shooters’ winning ways

SHOOTERS 3 – 1 BISHOPS WALTHAM

By Reporter Tom Greenwood

Saturday 26th September saw Shooters U15’s continue their winning ways with a 3-1 away victory over Bishops Waltham Dynamos.

Shooters started with great determination with a goal in the first two minutes from ‘Wonder Goal’ player Noah May.  Chances to extend the lead came and went with some well played football, but shooters were unable to find the back of the net.

Bishops Waltham levelled the scoring just before half time when Shooters lost concentration.

HALF TIME

Shooters got their minds back in the game and made a speedy start to the second half but were still wasteful in front of goal.

The referee waved away a stone wall penalty when Player of the Match, Freddie Randall was clean through on goal and was taken down.

Randall made amends when again through on goal slotted past the goal keeper. Then again 10 minutes later Randall doubled his tally with another fine finish.

Shooters host Upper Clatford at Wherwell Playing Fields this Saturday (3rd October).
